How we work / clarity at every handoff

A clear scope.
A working system.
A useful handover.

You should be able to see what is being built, what we need from you, and how we will know it works. Here is how we move from the first conversation to daily operation.

No mystery
between the
milestones.

Each phase has an output and a decision. The depth depends on the scope; a focused workflow and a new product need different levels of discovery.

01Discover

Understand the work before changing it.

Map the current journey, users, tools and friction. Choose the business task worth improving.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

A process map, priority journeys and a list of unknowns.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Your current process, sample inputs and the people who own it.

Decision to move forward ↗We agree the problem and the next useful scope.
02Define

Make the agreement concrete.

Name what will be built, how much is included, what it connects to, and what stays for later.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

A scope with deliverables, responsibilities, costs and acceptance checks.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Access constraints, content responsibilities, decision makers and budget context.

Decision to move forward ↗Both sides can tell what completion means.
03Design

Make the experience visible.

Review key screens, workflow steps and human handoffs before extending implementation.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

Interface and workflow designs with source and permission decisions.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Consolidated feedback from the agreed reviewer.

Decision to move forward ↗The intended journey is clear enough to build.
04Build & evaluate

Prove the important paths.

Implement the agreed scope and check real journeys, missing inputs, permissions and service failures.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

A working version and an evaluation record with known limitations.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Representative examples, review time and test accounts where needed.

Decision to move forward ↗The agreed checks pass, or an exception is explicitly resolved.
05Launch & hand over

Give the work a proper owner.

Release with a named launch owner. Walk through daily use, account access and recovery.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

Operating notes, configuration inventory and agreed training.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

The operating team, account owners and launch approval.

Decision to move forward ↗Your team knows what to do next and how to handle exceptions.
06Care & improve

Choose the next useful iteration.

Separate maintenance from managed operation and new development. Review usage and evidence before expanding.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

An optional care scope or prioritized next-step backlog.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Operating feedback and a useful baseline where impact is measured.

Decision to move forward ↗Coverage, limits and responsibilities are explicit.

Working is a check.
Improvement is
something we measure.

We separate functional acceptance from business impact so the evidence stays honest.

  1. Functional checksDoes the intended journey complete, including permissions, exceptions and recovery?
  2. Business evidenceWhere measurement is included, compare a reliable baseline over an agreed period.
  3. Operating ownershipName who reviews output, maintains sources, pays usage costs and handles failures.
The commercial side

Clear boundaries.
Better collaboration.

How do changes to scope work?

New workflows, roles, channels, languages and integrations are reviewed for fee and schedule impact before implementation. Small clarifications and new deliverables are different decisions.

How often do we review the work?

The proposal names review milestones, included rounds and who consolidates feedback. Timing depends on scope and actual access, content and reviewer availability.

What happens after launch?

Your agreement defines defect correction and handover. Maintenance, managed content or workflow operation, vendor subscriptions and further development are separately scoped.

Who owns the accounts and deliverables?

Ownership, licenses and account control are defined in the agreement. We identify billing and operating owners rather than leave them implicit.
